RUTAS TURÍSTICAS EN CUENCA

The town of Seize from the popular anime series Sora no Woto is based in Cuenca. The locations in Sora no Woto are located in the Historic Walled Town of Cuenca. It is located on a small hill at the northeast of the city, a World Heritage site, named by UNESCO in 1996.

 

 

 

11:00 Our tour begins from Parador de Cuenca, a 4-star national hotel restored from the old Saint Paul Convent. This hotel is located at the west side of the bridge, where we could do a panoramic view from all the city and the Casas Colgadas, emblematic houses in Cuenca.

After this we will pass through the San Pablo bridge to get to the city. First we will visit the Spanish Abstract Art Museum, an important building due to the high amount of times it appears on the series. There we'll have 4 hours of free time to enjoy the museum on your own, to have lunch and to take some pictures.

15:30 We return to our visit going to the Plaza Mayor and Santa María and San Julián Cathedral, going through the streets which Kanata, the protagonist of the series, goes through.

After we see these important buildings we'll go to the Cristo del Pasadizo, located on Ronda Julian Romero street.

We'll culminate our visit seeing the remains of the Muslim wall.
